RETURNS

If you receive a regularly stocked product which you have ordered and it is not what you had expected, you may return the product within 30 days from the date of the invoice for a refund on the price of the product or a credit to an alternate purchase. If the reason is because of a technical difficulty, we advise you to first work with our product support specialist to resolve the issue.

Special Order / Clearance / Bargain Bin items cannot be returned.

The following items carry no warranty and cannot be returned:

  • Fuel
  • Glow Plugs
  • Batteries
  • Paints
  • Adhesives
  • Software

All items being returned must be in new, unused condition, and include the original packaging.

If you want to return something, please do not mark or damage the product packaging in any way. The item must be in re-sellable condition. We protect all products with adequate packaging when shipping to you, we ask for the same courtesy with returns. It is amazing how many people just throw a label or scrawl an address on the product itself to return it and expect to get a refund! Items returned this way will not be credited with a full refund as chances are we would have to sell it at 'Bargain' prices.

To make a return you must first submit a Ticket to our return department.

Do not, under any circumstances, return an item, for any reason, without getting prior authorization!

When returning an item, include a written explanation for the return as the person processing your package will not necessarily be the same person you speak to on the phone.

If, by error, we have sent you a product which was not what you had ordered, we will be happy to replace the item for you. Submit a ticket for authorization and return instructions. Again, the item being returned must be in new, unused condition, in the original packaging.

Do not use a product if it was not what you had ordered unless you intend to keep the product anyway. We will not accept used merchandise for return and we will not accept packages sent to us COD.

All returned non-defective items are subject to a 5% restocking fee.

Return To Sender shipments will not have shipping costs refunded.

DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE

If you receive a product and find that it is defective right out of the package, you may obtain return authorization from Action Hobbies and return it within 30 days for repair or replacement. You will be responsible for getting the defective product to us. However, we will pay the cost of getting a replacement to you.

If you receive a kit and there are parts missing, you must approach the manufacturer directly for replacement parts. We do not have access to individual kit parts. Action Hobbies Kingsville will not rob one kit to fix another and this policy helps to ensure that no one will inadvertently get stuck with an incomplete kit due to tampering.

Once the item has been used, you must refer to the manufacturer's warranty. The manufacturer, not Action Hobbies Kingsville, is responsible for all manufacturing defects and liabilities. Most products of a technical nature including radios, electronic equipment, engines, etc. carry a manufacturer’s warranty and you must return the product directly to them for repair or replacement. We do not deal directly with most manufacturers and are not in a position to do warranty repairs or replacements. Different items will have different warranty policies. If you have a problem with a product and are in doubt as to what to do, please call us for assistance.

TeamAHK branded Merchandise

Action Hobbies Kingsville (AHK) will be providing 90 days warranty from the time of invoice on any Team AHK branded merchandise. Simply open a ticket under "product support" and one of our product specialists will get back to you.

General Disclaimer: TeamAHK branded merchandise is warrantied to be free of manufacturer’s defects at the time of purchase. The warranty does not cover breakage due to abuse, improper break-in, improper setup, or improper operation.

We at Action Hobbies Kingsville have made every effort in component design, material selection, and assembly to make our products as durable as possible. Team AHK products are covered under warranty only against manufacturer’s defects in materials, workmanship, or assembly when it is new (before being used).

If you believe a defect in materials, workmanship, or assembly was not apparent when the product was new and only became evident after the product was used, then please contact the point of purchase. If the product was purchased from Actionhobbieskingsville.com, please follow our Returns procedures. You must provide your original sales receipt verifying the proof-of purchase and date thereof. Provided warranty conditions have been met, the components that are found to be defective, incorrectly made, or incorrectly assembled within the warranty coverage time period may be repaired or replaced under the sole discretion of Action Hobbies Kingsville.
Limitation of Liability

Action Hobbies Kingsville SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, LOSS OF PROFITS OR PRODUCTION OR COMMERCIAL LOSS IN ANY WAY, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER SUCH CLAIM IS BASED IN CONTRACT, WARRANTY, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY OR ANY OTHER THEORY OF LIABILITY, EVEN IF AHK HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. Further, in no event shall the liability of AHK exceed the individual price of the Product on which liability is asserted. As AHK has no control over use, setup, final assembly, modification or misuse, no liability shall be assumed nor accepted for any resulting damage or injury. By the act of use, setup or assembly, the user accepts all resulting liability. If you as the purchaser or user are not prepared to accept the liability associated with the use of the Product, purchaser is advised to return the Product immediately in new and unused condition to the place of purchase.

All orders that are in stock are shipped within 24-72 hours Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.

We provide shipping worldwide by Canada Post, but if shipping rates are not showing for your country, then please select "Rates Unavailable, We will contact you". A support specialist will be in touch with you via email within 24 hours to clear your order.


AHK Express Depot Pick Ups
Customer order pick ups are available to be ordered and dropped at the following locations:
  • Windsor: CITY CYCLERY, 553 Lincoln Road, Windsor, Ontario N8Y 1C8, (226) 674-0648
    AHK Windsor Express Depot drops are available every Saturday at Noon (with some exceptions including holidays, extreme weather events, etc)

Order Tracking

If a tracking # is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information. You can view your order status under "My Account" and "Review Orders"

Shipping Rates

The rate charged for the shipping of your order is based on the weight of your products, and your location. Before the final checkout page you will be shown what the cost of shipping will be, and you will have a chance to not place your order if you decide not to.

Back Orders

If an item goes on back order we will ship you the part of your order that is in stock. When the item becomes available we will ship you the rest of your order. You will not be charged any additional shipping and handling for the second shipment.

Pre-order

For pre-order items, you will be charged the shipping cost and remaining balance after product(s) becomes available. Any Pre-orders that are not paid with in 5 business days will be cancelled.
